So long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, Good night.

So for the past 5 months I was lucky enough to become good friends with one of our foreign exchange students, Thomas. He is from Germany and when he first came all the girls were drooling over him. It made me laugh. I thought he was okay, but obviously not 'all-that-and-a-bag-of-chips', and I decided I think being friends with his was much cooler! I had US History with him and welcomed him with my bubbly self. I think I kind of freaked him out at first but we started talking and became friends. Over the Winter Break my friends and I hung out quite a bit with Thomas and we became very close. We went sledding, went to a coffee shop, listened to live bands, and went Ice Skating, and saw the lights at Temple Square. This last Thursday- January 21- he headed back home to Germany. We will all miss him very much and his very odd, but funny sense of humor. I know that he will miss us and our harassment too, and losing all the weight he gained here, but hopefully in June he will visiting us again.
