Hard week

For any of you that don't know my cousin Tanya died 2 weeks ago from this coming up Sunday, after battling 3 hard months of Wegeners Disease. I have never had someone so close to me pass away. Our family knew her time with us was limited but it was still a shock to us all. The following friday was her funeral and it was very short and nice. A couple hours later I got a call from my friend Allie, she told me that one of our young women, Randi's (who had major kidney surgery Thursday, and was born with a heart defect. She was put on the heart transplant list but taken off because her body was too weak. So with this surgery they were hoping that they could bring her body to strength after having one of her kidney's fail.) surgery was a failure and they had brought her home to die. At about 2:45am Saturday, she had returned home to her Heavenly Father. With these two losses, it helped me grow so much, Spiritually. I am so grateful for the gospel in my life. I am so grateful for my knowledge of the Plan of Salvation and I know that this wasn't the last time I will see them. I know that they are so happy and free of their stuggles and illnesses. The sadness and sorrow if shed by those who are left behind. They would want us to be happy for them. Again I am so grateful for the gospel and I KNOW I will see them both again if I live rightously. My Bishop had kind of teased our Young Women when we spoke of Randi on Sunday, he said "You girls better start getting in shape, because when we meet Randi again she will have a healthy heart and want a game of 1 on 1 in Basketball." It gave us all a chuckle and kind of brightened our mood!
